The Whaling City Clippers play all of their home games at the Dr. Paul F. Walsh Athletic Field in New Bedford, MA. The lighted field primarily serves New Bedford High School’s Whalers athletic teams. The home team bleachers sit approximately 2000 fans, while the visiting team site seats close to 1000.
The field is across from New Bedford High School and is bordered by Parker Street to the North, Hunter Street to the West, Liberty Street to the East and Maxfield Street on the South. The Main entrance to the Football Field is on Maxfield Street.
Tryouts: TBA
The Clippers have previously held tryouts at UMass Dartmouth, Buttonwood Park and Carney Academy. The team will renegotiate with the City of New Bedford to secure a practice field for the 2011 season.
Practice Field: Butonwood Park
The Clippers have previously practiced at UMass Dartmouth, Buttonwood Park and Carney Academy. The team is practicing at Buttonwood Park, near Rockdale Avenue, betwee the baseball diamonds for the 2010 season.
